Ventless Washer/Dryer Combo

When buying a washer and dryer you have a lot of options. You could purchase a top load or front load model, a steam washer, and more. One of the better options for someone looking for a washer/dryer to place in a small area is the washer and dryer combo machine. To go a step further for convenience, a ventless model would be even more efficient.

Anyone living alone, in a rental room, small apartment, or college dorm could benefit from owning a washer and dryer combo machine. It would only be logical that you purchase a compact machine if you have a small living area. There is absolutely no chance of fitting a full sized washer and dryer in your room. With the combo machine you have both a washing machine and drying machine all packaged into one.

Benefits of a Ventless Washer/Dryer Combo Machine
As just mentioned, these machines are extremely compact. You will be able to both wash and dry your laundry all in the same machine. A ventless washer and dryer combo machine will also be very easy to move around as there is no vent keeping it stuck within a certain area of your home. You will have a smaller load capacity but when living alone this should not be an issue.

One of the main benefits of a ventless combo machine is how the dryer works. There is no need for air being drawn in then released as hot air. The ventless feature allows for air from the surrounding area to enter the machine and be heated. Once the air is heated it will circulate through the machine. After it has finished its cycle, instead of being expelled from the machine, it will go be re-used. This is possible as there is a heat exchanger which cools down and re-heats the air for it to be used over again.

Disadvantages to a Ventless Washer/Dryer Combo Machine

A ventless washer and dryer combo machine has a few disadvantages as well. The most noteworthy would be that the load capacity is limited as mentioned earlier. This is not going to be a major concern for someone living alone, but it could be an issue if you need to wash a lot of heavy clothes.

Another down side to the combo machine is that the dryer takes much longer to complete its cycle than many would like. There is nothing you can really do about this though. If you wanted a fast dryer then you would need to purchase a much larger model. Doing so would be out of the question in a small living environment.

Buying a Ventless Washer/Dryer Combo Machine
There are a number of things to consider when buying one of these machines. For instance, you may want to look at whether the machine is gas or electricity operated. Each have their own benefits. A gas operated combo machine will be lower in operational costs but will cost more to purchase. An electricity based model is higher in operational costs but will be less expensive to purchase.

You will want to make sure that you purchase a machine from a well known brand name. There are a few different popular names that should be considered, such as LG or Whirlpool. If you buy from a more well known brand you should be able to get a better warranty. Generally the product is much better in terms of performance, efficiency, and durability as well.

If you plan to purchase a combo machine then now is the time to do so. Just do a bit more research on your options and look at specific models currently available. It would be strongly suggested that you do a bit of shopping around for the best possible deal instead of just making a blind purchase. You should be able to find a ventless washer and dryer combo machine within your budget that will be convenient for your small living area.
