If you are looking for an inexpensive and ultra light laptop, think Lenovo laptop. The Lenovo Thinkpad z60t weighs in at only four and a half pounds. This Lenovo laptop measures a sleek and trim 13.1 x 1.2 inches. The great thing about this cool Lenovo laptop is that the retail price starts a just under $800. This is an excellent buy considering the quality you get from Lenovo. Lenovo is the company that bought out IBM’s hardware business in 2005. You have to be careful if you are a tech buff though. You can spend over two grand on all of the configuration options this laptop comes with.

The z60t Lenovo laptop gets rave reviews. Some people even say that you can’t get a more perfect laptop. If you are into multimedia or if you are a business professional, you will love the Thinkpad z60t. The color choices you have are all-black or silver-titanium. This rock solid laptop comes equipped with an Intel Pentium M 1.2GHZ processor, 40GB hard drive, 1GB Ram, DVD RW drive, 12.1″ LCD display, Windows XP and an integrated Ethernet and Wireless 802.11b/g adapters. The X41 is another rather light weight laptop made by Lenovo, weighing in at 2.7 lbs. and measuring .81-1.06″(h) x 10.5″(w) x 8.3″(d).

If you like your laptop to have a full sized keyboard, this one is for you. It comes in black and has the solid feel of titanium composite. The keys also have a solid feel to them and there is plenty of room for touch-typing. This is one sturdy laptop. The standard battery will last at least three and a half hours, but you can add an extended battery to get five and half hours of battery life out of it. Adding the extended battery will increase the laptop weight by at least a pound though so that maybe a drawback for you.

The ThinkPad X41 Lenovo laptop is an excellent choice for business people and for those who have to do frequent traveling for business trips or otherwise. The starting price for the ThinkPad X41 is just under $1500. Quite an impressive price considering it comes with a built-in-fingerprint reader and TPM (Trusted Platform Module. This technology is built in the hardware chip that can secure your password and uses the fingerprint reader in tandem so your laptop security is outstanding. One important feature is Lenovo’s Rescue and Recovery suite the X41 that comes with it for your back up solutions. All you have to do is press the blue Access key to use it.
