Folding Treadmill

A treadmill is a machine that lets you exercise by walking or running, while staying in one place. It works by a conveyor belt that spins around at different speeds, allowing you to run while you stay in the same position. You can set a treadmill to different speeds according to your fitness level, or how hard you want your work out to be. If you are not very fit then you might want to set the treadmill to the pace of walking. If you prefer to have a hard work out, then you may want to set the treadmill to the speed of sprinting.

There are some very reasonably priced options available for you to purchase if you are intending to get a treadmill for your home. Another major advantage point to buying a folding treadmill is that you can save a lot of space when you are not using it. If you are going to go for a heavy duty treadmill that has more features, then you will have to be prepared to pay a significant amount more. However, if you just want a folding treadmill that lets you exercise properly, but is very basic, then there are some available that are actually very affordable.

One manufacturer that you may want to consider is Weslo. One model in particular that you may want to take a look at is the Compact SL Folding treadmill. The reason that this model is so popular is because it has some fantastic features, and can be purchased at a very reasonable price. One very useful feature of the Compact SL Folding treadmill is the unique heart rate monitor. It works via hand-grip pulse sensors, so there is no other equipment that you have to use to monitor your heart rate as it rises and falls. The maximum weight for users of this folding treadmill is 18.5 stone, so a large majority of people will be able to use it.

The next folding treadmill that you may want to take a look at is a little more expensive. The NordicTrack C2000 Folding Treadmill does however have some impressive features, much like the aforementioned. The incline function of the NordicTrack C2000 Folding Treadmill lets you run or walk at an angle, giving the feel that you are walking or running uphill, which also allows for a more vigorous work out. The console feedback of this folding treadmill helps you to monitor heart rate, calories burned and other important information as well. The maximum user weight for the NordicTrack C2000 Folding Treadmill is 21.1 stone, so a lot of people will be able to use it.

A much for expensive model is the Vision Fitness T9450 Folding Treadmill. Although this is not going to be an option for everyone, if you can afford the hefty price tag then it is well worth it. The console system of the Vision Fitness T9450 Folding Treadmill is incredibly impressive. Not only does it provide all of the functions that the aforementioned model does, it also has a unique user log in system, allowing you to track your progress. There are various different modes on this folding treadmill. Firstly, it still has the incline mode. As well as this, though, it also has modes to focus on different parts of the body, and also to vary the level of workout.

These are just three folding treadmills out of thousands of models. There are many more for you to consider and look into. It all depends on what you want. You will need to consider storage space, maximum weight for the machine itself, the different functions of each model, and of course, the price. You may find it helpful to read consumer reviews for each product that you look at, too, as this can be helpful when it comes to making a decision.

Folding treadmillsare a great option especially for those living in limited space. However when i bought my first treadmill i found that the treadmill was too long to fit in my living room! So I had to downgrade. Be sure to make measurements and be absolutely sure that the treadmill your are going to buy will fit!
